AWS Database

Organizations all have unique needs, and so should their databases. The times of a one-size-fits-all database are over. AWS provides the broadest selection of databases that your organization’s needs. These databases are purpose-built, fully managed, provide performance at scale, and enterprise-class.

Below you will find the AWS Database services Cloud Rush offers to our clients.

Amazon Aurora
This is a MySQL and PostgreSQL-compatible relational database built for the cloud. Aurora will provide the same performance and availability you are used to but in a cost-effective open source database. It comes at 1/10th of the cost and is fully managed by Amazon Database Service (RDS). This will automate the time-consuming administration tasks like hardware provisioning, database setup, patching, and backups.
Amazon RDS
This provides an easy set-up, operate, and scale abilities to the relational database in the cloud. Providing a cost-efficient and resizable capacity while automating time-consuming administration.
Amazon DynamoDB
This is a key-value and document database that delivers single-digit millisecond performance at any scale. It’s a fully managed, multiregional, multi-master database with built-in security, backup and restores, and in-memory caching for internet-scale applications. It supports some of the world’s most extensive scale applications by providing consistent, single-digit millisecond response times at any scale.
Amazon ElastiCache
This allows you to seamlessly deploy, run, and scale popular open source compatible in-memory data stores. You can build new data-intensive applications or improve performance of your already existing applications.
Amazon Redshift
This is in the analytics section of the AWS Proficiencies
Amazon Neptune
This graph database service is fast and reliable. It that makes it easy to build and run applications that work with highly connected datasets. It is a purpose-built, high-performance graph database engine optimized for storing billions of relationships and querying the graph with milliseconds latency. It is highly available, with reading replicas, point-in-time recovery, continuous backup to Amazon S3, and replication across Availability Zones. Also, it allows you to build queries that efficiently navigate highly connected datasets quickly.
AWS Database Migration Service
This service will help you migrate your databases to AWS quickly and securely. The database will reamin fully operational during the migration. You can migrate your data to and from the most widely used commercial and open-source databases. Also, it supports homogenous migrations, as well as heterogeneous migrations between different database platforms.
Amazon Timestream
This is a fast, scalable, fully managed time-series database service. It specializes in IoT and operational applications, allowing an easy to store and analyze service. This service is a 1/10th the cost of relational databases. It stores and processes data by time intervals, Ystore and analyze log data, sensor data, and industrial telemetry data. This will make your data more straightforward and faster to analyze. It automates rollups, retention, tiering, and compression of data, so you can manage your data at the lowest possible cost.
Amazon RDS on VMware
This lets you deploy distributed databases in on-premises VMware environments using the Amazon RDS technology. Providing a cost-efficient and resizable capacity while automating time-consuming administration tasks, including hardware provisioning, database setup, patching, and backups. Also, it allows you to utilize the same simple interface for managing databases in on-premises VMware environments as you would use in AWS. You can easily replicate RDS on VMware databases to RDS instances in AWS, enabling low-cost hybrid deployments for disaster recovery, read replica bursting, and optional long-term backup retention in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3).
Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility)
This is a fast, scalable, highly available, and fully managed document database service that supports MongoDB workloads. Amazon DocumentDB will give you the performance, scalability, and availability you need when operating mission-critical MongoDB workloads at scale.
